OUTDOOR RANGE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITH SECURITY/CAMERA SURVEILLANCE: Brian and I wanted to have more than just a place to throw bullets downrange. We wanted a place to train, practice, learn, reflect and grow. We wanted a place to teach, guide, nurture, and share with others. With this in mind, we have spent years turning the Dahlonega range into a park-like setting and not just a berm with targets.
This property has always had a big piece of our hearts because of The Hanke and The Smith family but it now fills an even bigger space. In 2020 Brian and I lost 2 parents within 6 weeks of each other. We have made a Memorial Garden under a big Willow Tree in memory of my dad, Thomas Oscar Henry Luehder and we made a beautiful "Thinking Bench" memorial under a new Willow Tree where Brian's mom, Lucy Nalley Hill's ashes lay. We put time, money and effort into keeping our range beautiful but most of all, we pour love into it and so does so many friends, family and alumni. We are proud Members of the Lumpkin County Chamber Of Commerce and love our community.
Please make note that our Dahlonega facility is for non-live fire classes and pistol caliber classes only. Our rifle classes will be held at Georgia Mountain Shooting Association. Here are a few hotel suggestions near GMSA. Lavonia, GA may have the best options off of I-85, exit 173 on Hwy 17.

We HIGHLY recommend you take a medical class (see Recommendations page) , CPR training and know basic first aid. If you attend a training class where a medical protocol is NOT in place then you may very well be the unspoken medical responder for yourself and others.
