Featured classroom presenter/instructor: Receive a QPR Gatekeeper Certificate (good for 2 years)
The Mingle's 2024 curriculum covers suicide awareness content, including current statistics pertaining to suicide, as well as risk factors and protective factors. Students will learn to recognize warning signs of a suicide crisis, ask questions to help respectfully engage with a person who may be suicidal, learn active listening and persuasion skills, and learn how to refer individuals in crisis to appropriate resources.
All attendees will receive a QPR Gatekeeper Certificate from the QPR Institute, which counts for two continuing education hours. The certificate is valid for 2 years. This course is highly recommended to enhance the curriculum vitae of firearms professionals such as Instructors and Range Safety Officers.

- Sarah Joy Albrecht of Hold My Guns. Sarah is the Founder and Executive Director of Hold My Guns®, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that partners with FFLs to provide voluntary firearms storage during times of crisis or personal need (such as during deployment). Albrecht is a QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Instructor and a Range Safety Officer for the Southern Chester County Youth Shooting League where she has volunteered since 2013.
