When it comes to self protection, knowing your gear and abilities while performing at your highest level should be a goal of all shooters. Knowing the realistic use of your rifle at different distances, backgrounds, and positions is knowledge that all armed citizens should possess. The Complete Combatant's goal is to offer an event that does just that. You will have the opportunity to train with top tier instructors during an event that is not found anywhere else in the country.
Our nation was founded by a person with a rifle. We are not calling Rifle Renaissance a class because it is an incredible EVENT that will help us get back to being a more prepared rifle community. These 3 days of training will bring our Nation's riflemen and riflewomen together again.
The rifle may be your main "go to" weapon "in and round" the home, it may be your "truck" gun, or maybe things have gone poorly in society where you find yourself in a position to need a rifle outside the home. Rifle Renaissance will focus on these important locations so the first time you have to make a decision on this level of force, and everything is on the line, it is not the first time you have thought about the correct legal answer to an imminent problem.
Our coaches have developed a plan of practice that focuses on finding your personal limitations. Their blocks of instruction will challenge you physically and mentally, but will also challenge your gear and your rifles. It is very important to know your exact limits. Because everyone is different, a cookie cutter style training will not work so each guest will get attention based on their performance, not based on the group. When you know "who you are" as a shooter, then you will be able to make a more reasonable and confident decision on when to press the trigger, and when NOT to.
We are very happy to introduce a NEW end of event concept called "Showcase Sunday" with 3-4 unique challenges designed by each event's instructor. They will take a lifetime of knowledge and put it into a shooting drill that will go "hand n hand" with their shooting block. Each coach's drill will be NEW to the rifle shooting community and introduced that day. You will receive a copy of each drill to practice so you can measure your progress. After that day, the drills will go public. HOW EXCITING, that means each year there will be 3-4 NEW rifle shooting drills floating around out there and YOU will be the first shoot them!
Our award system is called Monument to Victory. We have trophies for scoring 90% and above, 100% accuracy per Showcase Sunday drill, and one for Showcase Sunday Mastery. Check it out!
We will have sponsors, door prizes, SWAG and even a HK rifle to give away. We will supply bottled water and snacks on the ranges and lunch on Sunday.
This page is basically the "meat and potatoes" of Rifle Renaissance. Since our event instructors and block curriculum will change each year, you will need to CLICK ON the event year that applies to the current year's RR for event details, location, instructors, fundraisers, etc.
Annual event the first weekend in March: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
During this 3 day event, you will train with Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant PLUS 2-3 other fantastic rifle instructors.

We invite you to order from them for this event, they will deliver your ammo to The Complete Combatant and The Complete Combatant will hand to you on Friday morning. Classroom and live fire
You will train with each instructor on Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday.
Sunday afternoon is called "Showcase Sunday" drills. These are shooting drills that each instructor has designed to go "hand n hand" with their training session.
Skill Level Required:
Intermediate and above riflemen and riflewomen
NOT a weekend for beginners
What does an "intermediate to advanced" skill level mean?
Do you train in professional classes with your pistol but not as many hours on your rifle? THAT IS PERFECT!
This class will require you to have safe rifle handling skills. Safety on, off and on
You need to be able to follow directions from our coaches
You need to have a deep understanding of your rifle, optic and accessories
You MUST be ZEROed prior to class: 50 or 100 yard is optimal. We need to spend our time on more essential skills than zeroing. That being said, we will quickly check all zeros and fine tune on Friday morning.
We do not have a "vetting" process. This is the honor system. If you are not safe, or the class moves to quickly for you, you will be asked to step off the line and be an observer for the remainder of the event.
