What does "NOT a beginners weekend" and "intermediate to advanced" skill level mean?
Do you train in professional classes with your pistol but not as many hours on your rifle? THAT IS PERFECT!
This class will require you to have safe rifle handling skills. Safety on, off and on
You need to be able to follow directions from our coaches
You need to have a deep understanding of your rifle, optic and accessories
You MUST be ZEROed prior to class: 50 or 100 yard is optimal. We need to spend our time on more essential skills than zeroing. That being said, we will quickly check all zeros and fine tune on Friday morning.
We do not have a "vetting" process. This is the honor system. If you are not safe, or the class moves to quickly for you, you will be asked to step off the line and be an observer for the remainder of the event.
Is this an AR-specific event, or can you run an AK, Mini-14 or one of the "ranch rifles" out there?AK, mini 14 are allowed. Ranch rifle is fine but will be slow
Slings, mags and mag pouch.requirements?All rifles must have slings. Mags can be run from a pocket or pouch
Irons, dots, or optics, or do you not care?Yes, any of these are acceptable
Green tip ammo allowed?No green tip ammo
308s allowed?Nope
50 and 100 yard zeroes are mentioned. If my defensive rifles are zeroed at 25 yards. Is that alright? 25 yard zero is fine, and we will be working out zeros in the morning if they need refinement.
What about pistols with braces? Will those be allowed?Yes, braces are allowed
Can your event provide ammo so I don't have to travel with it or ship it?YES, Our GO TO ammo supplier is The Gun Food. We invite you to order from them for this event, they will deliver your ammo to The Complete Combatant and The Complete Combatant will hand to you on Friday morning. Can you tell me more about your award system? I understand it is a bit "outside" the box. Sure! Please go to our Monument To Victory page and it will explain everything. It is a fun and new way to say "GREAT JOB".
Will alumni get discounts for the next Rifle Renaissance? Yes, if you are a RR alumni of 2026, then you will receive a discount for 2027. If you did not attend 2027, you will not receive a discount for 2028. You must attend the last year in order to receive a discount for the next one. Basically, think of it like a "back to back" thought process.
When is the next Rifle Renaissance? We will most likely have our annual event the first full weekend in March.
