3 Hour Training Block with Brian Hill on RANGE 4
Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant: Topic:Inner Game of Shooting MICRO Class. Performing at our highest level should be the goal of all shooters. Unfortunately, the modern methods of coaching have not been applied to shooting in a cohesive and unified manner which leads to lots of wasted time and effort. The mental game is the most important part of high level performance, consisting of the technical/physical, psychological, and physiological. Understanding how to modulate and capitalize on these states is what will allow the shooter to perform in a accurate, consistent, efficient, and disciplined manner.

3 Hour Training Block with Tim Reedy of TDR Training: "Kilt in the Streets" Kilt in the Streets? A Defensive Handgunner’s Introduction to Competition on RANGE 1
Kilt in the Streets? A Defensive Handgunner’s Introduction to Competition. Is competition good for defensive handgunners? Some say habits learned there will get you kilt (killed) in the streets. The real answer is: It depends. But being able to shoot fast and accurately under pressure is ALWAYS a good thing. Getting started in competition can be daunting. We’re here to take the mystery out of what to expect. After this course, you should be able to arrive at your first local match with confidence in what you are doing, and start gaining the benefits of Competition for the Defensive Handgunner. In this 3-hour class we will introduce you to 2 common types of handgun competition, IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association), and Steel Challenge. We will cover the pros and cons of each sport, discuss the basic rules, where they are similar and where they differ, scoring methods, and stage planning. After that, we will shoot an IDPA stage and a Steel Challenge stage. Even if you never plan on competing, feeling to pressure of GO TIME is so valuable!
