Topic: Speed and efficiency: Visual speed, trigger speed, and seamless transitions Trust yourself to shoot at the speed of vision while pressing the trigger efficiently to shoot at your highest skill level. We will explore the relationship between these two while shooting transitions at different distances and widths. This skill translates well to both the competitive and defensive shooter, allowing the shooter to trust themselves no matter the distance or difficulty of the target.

3 Hour Training Block with Kyle Thompson Sr. RANGE 1
Kyle Thompson is the owner and Chief Firearms Instructor of Cover Your 6 Shooting, established in 2006. His professional background spans U.S. Naval Special Warfare, Law Enforcement, government security, executive protection, and professional firearms instruction. As a professional firearms educator, Kyle is an NRA Training Counselor, NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, Washington state CJTC Instructor and FDLE Instructor. He is a Modern Samurai Project Certified Red Dot Instructor, USCCA Defensive Pistol Program (DPP) Instructor, and USCCA CCHDF Instructor. Kyle has completed Rangemaster Professional Pistolcraft and earned the Rangemaster Pistol Master Award, along with completing every pistol instructor development course through Rangemaster and other nationally recognized training programs. He has taught at girl and a gun conference and Taccon. Through Cover Your 6 Shooting, Kyle trains responsible citizens, armed professionals, law-enforcement officers, and firearms instructors nationwide. His teaching philosophy combines real-world experience, measurable performance standards, deliberate coaching, and accountability, with an emphasis on developing shooters who understand not only how to perform a skill, but why it works and how to diagnose and improve their own performance.
Topic: Accuracy: Bullseye Performance Course Bullseye is a three-hour, 150-round performance pistol course designed to develop the shooter’s ability to produce accurate, accountable hits on demand. This course goes beyond simply telling shooters to “slow down and aim.” Students will learn the fundamentals that actually create precision—grip, trigger manipulation, visual discipline, acceptable sight confirmation, and understanding how much input is required from the shooter based on target size and distance. Training begins with establishing baseline accuracy and progresses through increasingly demanding accuracy exercises at multiple distances.
Students will learn how to diagnose their own shots, recognize the difference between an aiming error and a trigger-control error, and develop the ability to call their shots based on what they saw as the pistol fired.
Students will work on:
Grip and trigger control for precision
Visual discipline and sight confirmation
Calling shots and self-diagnosis
Accuracy at varying distances
Target-size and distance management
Mechanical offset and point of aim/point of impact
Shooting smaller scoring zones
Timed accuracy standards and measurable performance
The course concludes with a scored bullseye performance standard, allowing each shooter to measure their current ability and establish a benchmark for future training.

*Sarah Hauptman in the CLUBHOUSE/SCHOOL *HK Shoot Steel Challenge with Gedde Wilson, Howard Marbury and Shannon Pable on RANGE 3
Sarah Hauptman is co-owner of PHLster Holsters, where her focus is the practical mechanics of concealment: how holster, body, and clothing interact, and why a setup that disappears on one person may print (show) on another. Through PHLster's education work she has helped thousands of people make concealed carry a functional part of their everyday lives. She teaches concealment as a set of repeatable principles that apply to all body types, rather than relying on wardrobe sacrifice or luck.
Topic: Concealed Carry Basics for ALL Body Types Sarah will be in the clubhouse/schoolhouse. There will be absolutely no gun handling in this class. We will be using blue guns (provided) only. You do not need to bring a holster or firearm to class. FEEL FREE TO LEAVE YOUR GEAR IN THE DESIGNATED AREA RIGHT OUTSIDE OF THE SCHOOLHOUSE.
Description: How do you conceal a gun on your body? Why do some holsters print (show through your clothes) more than others? Is your holster safe? How do you get good concealment on different body shapes?
This class is appropriate for all skill levels, including beginners. It includes a lecture portion on the fundamental principles of concealment, and interactive demonstrations where students will work together to address common concealment and comfort challenges, applying the skills and techniques from the lecture.
A variety of equipment will be provided for demonstrations and practice exercises. Bring a notebook to record your observations, and a phone or camera for taking pictures if you desire.
She will cover:
Holster safety basics
The physics principles of concealment
How wings and wedges work
How body type affects concealment
