Racheal’s Rest, is a 501c3 nonprofit division of Crossroads Center for Christian Ministries, Inc. Racheal’s Rest offers private counseling, Mobile Family Workshops at shelters, one-day workshops and five-day restorative retreat programs located at our retreat center (see photos) in Cherry Log, Georgia that is designed to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of survivors and their families. We exist to help women and children who experienced sexual abuse or acts of violence regain their balance in life.
I (Shelley) am co-founder of Racheal's Rest, past Executive Director and Secretary, and now currently the Marketing Manager. Brian and I have always hosted events to help Racheal's Rest raise funds and awareness to help survivors of abuse. In the last few years our 2nd Amendment community has really embraced Racheal's Rest! So much so that it is time to start an annual "On the Range" for Racheal's Rest Day at our private range in the beautiful North GA mountains! This will be a fundraising event hosted in October of each year. We chose October because that is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and just so you know......Racheal's Rest will receive 100% of the proceeds!
