State of Georgia Sworn Peace Officer POST: The mission of the Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training Council is to provide the citizens of Georgia with qualified, professionally trained, ethical, and competent peace officers and criminal justice professionals.
The Complete Combatant's courses offer hours to use as credits toward The State of Georgia's Sworn Peace Officer's continuing education. There are MANY benefits to Georgia's Sworn Peace Officers training with The Complete Combatant:
Continue marksmanship goals, proficiency and good decision making under the guidance of Brian Hill.
Training "outside" the department is encouraged.
It is an outstanding addition to your resume.
It is usually so favorable that your department will most likely reimburse the cost of the class, and even time off to train.
How it works:
Register for class as normal. Please use our LEO discount when applicable.
Consider speaking with the proper authority before the class, or immediately after the class, regarding reimbursement so you know where you stand financially.
The Complete Combatant will have a "sign in" sheet. Please sign each morning and after lunch each day.
The Complete Combatant will turn the paperwork into their contact. That department will submit your hours to POST. Expect to see the continuing education hours show up in your records within 4 weeks of class.
Please make note that occasionally The Complete Combatant will schedule a class exclusively for the State of Georgia's Sworn Peace Officers ONLY. If that is scheduled, it will be clearly marked. Once again, you can register for ANY public live fire class and receive POST credits.
