Welcome to the Quest! Our next event is on Oct 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2025.

This is going to ROCK YOUR WORLD so hang on! Each year The Complete Combatant and Modern Samurai Project will team up in the month of October to bring you some of the best red dot system/pistol optics training in the country. This will be hosted at a range in North Georgia and will be a 3 day event with a celebration of "The Dot" on Saturday night. Brian Hill, Scott (Jedi) Jedlinski and AJ Zito of Practical Performance will each teach one day at the Quest, and be the AIs throughout the entire weekend. That means 6-8 students per top instructor why the lead instructor teaches the class. NICE!!! NICE!!! NICE!!!

Private Alumni registration is for students that attend THIS year. Registration will be open on October 30th from 7pm EST through October 31st 7pm EST, the year BEFORE the event (24 hours before we go public). You will receive the LINK w PASSCODE and will register through The Complete Combatant's ShootingClasses.com.
Public registration will be open on October 31st at 7pm EST, the year BEFORE the event. This is first come first serve. The Quest 2025 Event Details
Annual 3 day event with SPONSORS, DOOR PRIZES, MATCH PRIZES, RAFFLE OFF FIREARMS, and MORE!
FRIDAY: Scott "Jedi" Jedlinski of Modern Samurai Projec t focusing on SOLID FUNDAMENTALS & PERFORMANCE.
SATURDAY: Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant focusing on MEASURING and REFINING.
SUNDAY: AJ Zito of Practical Performance focusing on COMPETITION and PUTTING THE 3 DAYS TOGETHER with MATCHES.
Each "Quest" will be different so never assume it will be the curriculum, drills, sponsors, prizes, etc. each year.
Want to borrow an HK with a Holosun optic to train with while you are here? We got cha covered at NO CHARGE! We will also supply an appendix holster. Please specify if you are right of left handed when you reserve this.
Please make note that the refund policy is simple. There are no refunds, BUT BUT BUT if there is an emergency and you are unable to attend you CAN transfer your spot to the next person in line on The Quest's official waiting list. Contact Shelley immediately. You handle the $, I handle the transfer. If that offer gets turned down then you CAN offer it to a friend but the people on our waiting list come first.
If you (or I) are not able to officially "sell and transfer" by the Friday prior to the event (7 days), I would like the option to donate that spot. It would be a shame too let that coveted spot go to waist.

We will have 45 paid students max. We will run 2 or 3 relays. REMEMBER, all coaches will be on the line with you! You will have a lead instructor for the day and the rest of the team will be the AIs. BIG TIME one on one coaching from Jedi, AJ, and Brian throughout the entire 3 days! EPIC!!!

Meet Our Team:

Brian Hill is owner and head coach of The Complete Combatant located in Dahlonega, GA, a Heckler & Koch (HK) Brand Ambassador and Endorsed Instructor, a presenter at National Conferences and past owner of Fusion Fitness and MMA until 2020 where the social distancing, illness, and job loss of many students from COVID-19 forced us to close the doors.

Brian is also a PHLster Sponsored Instructor, and is a Certified Red Dot Instructor and an Endorsed Instructor with Scott Jedlinski of Modern Samurai Project. Brian Hill is a Rangemaster Certified Master Instructor with Tom Givens of Rangemaster and a past Tac Con Presenter.

Brian is a 4th degree Black belt in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Karate, a 3rd degree Black belt in Taekwondo and a certified MMA Conditioning Coach. Brian Hill is a former deputy with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department Reserve and and he has been a full time instructor since he was 18 and he personally trains everyday.

Scott Jedlinski of Modern Samurai Project is a lifelong martial artist (TKD, Muay Thai, BJJ). He has received hundreds of hours of training from people considered to be the best in the industry ranging from tactical/self-defense to competition.

Scott is a Master class shooter in USPSA and is the 16th recipient of the F.A.S.T Drill (#15) coin along with being a three stripe Purple Belt under Tony Passos.

Scott has been afforded the honor of instructing members of Pentagon ERT, US Marshal's Service, NYPD Instructor Cadre, Chicago SWAT, Ohio Tactical Officers Association, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, George Mason University Police, Santa Ana CA PD, the FBI National Tactical Training Unit, US Border Patrol's FMU, Phoenix PD, Garland Texas SWAT, Houston SWAT, Houston Narcotics and many more.

AJ Zito of Practical Performance is the founder, gunsmith, and lead instructor for Practical Performance. He is a former member of the U.S. Army, Certified Protection Specialist and Personal Security Detail (PSD) Instructor, and formerly the Primary and Lead Firearms Instructor for multiple companies. A.J.’s focus after leaving the security and protection world has been on the concealed/covert carrying and deployment of firearms. He is a USPSA Master in Single Stack Division, as well as a multi-division Master in IDPA. He also holds several Expert and Master ratings in multiple firearms disciplines including pistol, carbine, and precision rifle through various entities. A.J. brings a vast knowledge of ballistics, instruction, competition, and real world employment of firearms to the table. He has often been considered the “pro’s pro” among the groups he has worked with. AJ will be PRIMARY Medical all 3 days of The Quest.

AJ is an OUTSTANDING gunsmith and in some circles, he is knows as the best of the best! AJ is bringing the necessary tools to help get you back in class if your gun goes down.

Shelley Hill is co-owner, XO and Instructor at The Complete Combatant. She is a HK Brand Ambassador, writes for Shooting Illustrated, an Active Self Protection Certified Instructor, a graduate from Modern Samurai Project's Red Dot Instructor program, NRA Certified Instructor, Certified NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, Refuse to be a Victim Instructor and is a Certified OC (Pepper Spray) Instructor through Chuck Haggard's Agile Training & Consulting.

She is the designer and mastermind behind Image Based Decisional Drills, Smart Choices , The Complete Combatant's annual The Mingle for professional ladies in the "firearms/self defense" industry and The Quest for red dot shooters. Shelley is a presenter at Active Self Protection's National Conference, a presenter at The Well Armed Woman's Shooting Chapters National Leadership Conference (2021) and A Girl and a Gun's National Conference (2021). She is a public speaker and loves to train!
