Georgia Mountain Shooting AssociationGMSA was founded in 1975 by a group of local sportsmen, hunters, and firearms enthusiasts to establish facilities for safe and responsible recreational and competitive shooting, and to promote the sport by providing firearms safety training for youth groups, hunters and others.
They have several ranges plus a 300 yard rifle range. They have range covers, showers, and lights on some of the ranges plus an air conditioned clubhouse. No shooting on Sundays before 12noon |
Pickens County Sportsmans ClubThe PCSC has been in operation as a conservation and charitable organization at its Jones Mountain location since 1969. PCSC is a modern shooting facility that includes several pistol ranges, a 75 yds, 100 yds, 300 yds, skeet, trap wobble trap and an archery range. Two restroom facilities, a 860 square foot meeting/training building, and a camp are also on property. PCSC promotes education, training, sportsmanship, responsible firearm handling, and safety.
