Welcome to the Quest! This is going to ROCK YOUR WORLD so hang on! Each year The Complete Combatant and Modern Samurai Project will team up in the month of October to bring you some of the best red dot system training in the country. This will be hosted at our home range in Dahlonega, GA and it will be a 3 day event with a special a VIP Celebration of "The Dot" on Saturday night. Brian Hill and Scott (Jedi) Jedlinski will each teach one day at The Quest but the third instructor will be a special guest (TBA once confirmed) that will most likely change each year. We are very excited to announce that our first guest instructor is none other than Tim Herron of Tim Herron Shooting!

We will have 34 paid students max. We will run 2 relays per day. All coaches will be on the line with you! You will have a lead instructor for the day and the rest of the team will be the AIs. BIG TIME one on one coaching from Tim, Jedi, AJ, and Brian throughout the entire 3 days! EPIC!!!

SUNDAY: FOCUSING ON COMPETITION
Tim Herron of Tim Herron Shooting has been a GM since 2014, has won numerous national single stack titles, and continues to shoot enthusiastically, always pursuing improvement. Tim has been instructing since 2015, and loves working with people of all skill levels. His finely tuned eye for detail and personal "trial and error" experience gives him the ability to spot inefficiencies and that many people overlook. His teaching style focuses on an individuals strengths and weaknesses, and he teaches classes with the sole goal of making sure no student feels left behind, ignored, or treated differently, regardless of their abilities or equipment. Tim fosters an atmosphere of fun and personal development, making a personal investment in the improvement of every shooter.
FRIDAY: FOCUSING ON PERFORMANCE
​Scott Jedlinski of Modern Samurai Project is a lifelong martial artist (TKD, Muay Thai, BJJ). He has received hundreds of hours of training from people considered to be the best in the industry ranging from tactical/self-defense to competition.
Scott is a Master class shooter in USPSA and is the 16th recipient of the F.A.S.T Drill (#15) coin along with being a three stripe Purple Belt under Tony Passos.

Scott has been afforded the honor of instructing members of Pentagon ERT, US Marshal's Service, NYPD Instructor Cadre, Chicago SWAT, Ohio Tactical Officers Association, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, George Mason University Police, Santa Ana CA PD, the FBI National Tactical Training Unit, US Border Patrol's FMU, Phoenix PD, Garland Texas SWAT, Houston SWAT, Houston Narcotics and many more.
SATURDAY:  FOCUSING ON SELF DEFENSE  ​

Brian is owner and head coach of The Complete Combatant located in Dahlonega, GA and past owner of Fusion Fitness and MMA until 2020 where the social distancing, illness, and job loss of many students from COVID-19 forced us to close the doors. Brian is a Rangemaster Certified Master Instructor, a Modern Samurai Project Endorsed Instructor, the head coach of our Image Based Decisional Drill Instructor Certification program, has over 40 years as a student/teacher in the Martial Arts, and holds a Force Science Analyst Certification. Brian is an honors gradate from Andrew Baranca’s Law of Self Defense Instructor Program and is a member of Active Self Protection’s Instructor Development Portal and qualified instructor. Brian is also a public speaker, expert witness, a presenter at Rangemaster’s Tac Con & at Active Self Protection's National Conference. Brian competes, continues to practice daily and will forever be a student.

  • On Friday morning we will collect $50 CASH per person to cover range fees for the entire weekend
  • PUBLIC registration will be open  October 1st, 2021 10:00am EST. You will register  through The Complete Combatant's Eventbrite. ​
  • We also have a private FACEBOOK GROUP for The Quest 2022 guests. After you register for The Quest 2022, jump over, answer a question and ask to join!​
  • We have 3 (three) PRE-QUEST gifts that will be snail mailed to your home over the course of several months. Each gift will arrive in a RED envelope with a TQ sticker on the back. If you are joining us late from the waiting list, then you will probably not receive all 3 gifts. I have to order shirts in August.  You WILL receive a TQ jersey but depending on timing, you may or may not receive your choice in size. 
  • Please make note that the refund policy is simple. There are no refunds, BUT BUT BUT if there is an emergency and you are unable to attend you CAN transfer your spot to the next person in line on The Quest's official waiting list. You handle the $, I handle the transfer. If that offer gets turned down then you CAN offer it to a friend but the people on our waiting list come first. If a person is added, they may not receive all (or any) of the PRE-QUEST gifts (see above). Obviously, this is dependent on the time they join the guest list and I will need to be 100% involved in the transfer.

  • You will receive 3 GIFTS that arrive in a RED envelope via "snail mail" from our TQ team (if applicable. See above)
  • 1 FREE raffle ticket for a door prize entry (one ticket) on selected items. We will pull WINNERS at lunch.

#2. VIP $749 Per Person (OPEN):

GEAR and MORE TO KNOW: 
  • Red Dot Sights/Pistol Optics ONLY
  • Pistol w/holster (strong side, inside, outside waistband or appendix is fine)
  • Holsters that collapse (leather, soft, etc.) when drawn will NOT be allowed on our range. NO SERPA HOLSTERS will be allowed on our range. Please make note that if you show up with any of the above, we will ask you to CHANGE so you can comply with our range rules.
  • Duty belt/rig is APPROVED​
  • Concealment garment is NOT required but strongly encouraged. Please make note, there is NO concealment with DUTY RIG.
  • 750 rounds of factory loaded ammunition
  • Magazine carriers
  • A sturdy belt for the holster and magazine carriers (try your gear on prior to class)
  • Extra magazines: Double Stack x 3 mags and Single stack x 4 or more mags
  • Eye & ear protection (foam inserts or muffs – electronic muffs recommended)
  • "Back up” gun if you got it
  • Proper OUTDOOR weather attire
  • Hat with bill.... this is WHY!
  • Sunblock and bug spray (as needed)

Skill Level: 
  • This class will require you to have safe gun handling skills
  • ​You will be "presenting" from the holster. You need to have taken at least one professional class that focused on "the draw" in the class curriculum. 
  • You need to be able to follow directions from our coaches
  • You need to have a basic understanding of your firearm and your red dot sighting system/pistol optic..
  • This is NOT NOT NOT an event for the newer shooter.
