IBDD will be practiced DRY with the use of
SIRTS Training Pistols. NO LIVE FIRE = we will have a "sterile training environment" with no weapons or ammo in the training area. |
9:30am-11:45am Shelley Hill of The Complete Combatant
Image Based Decisional Drills: People carry a lot of gear but gear does not solve the problem….you do. There are very few range exercises for the private citizen that focuses on making lethal, less than lethal and non lethal decisions quickly. Our Image Based Decisional Drills are intended to fill the much needed gap in learning how to make decisions using images to provoke a response, decide which TOOL to use and then ACT on that decision. From the time that a bad guy chooses you, you will have a very limited amount of time to make a decision. THEY choose HOW and WHEN. Your actions need to be quick and decisive. With our Image Based Decisional Drills you get to…Make a decision. Choose your “action”. See the results and then think about the pros and cons of the decision you made in a safe environment. Due to the ammo shortage IBDD will be practiced DRY with the use of SIRTS (Training Pistol) or LASER (in the barrel of a disabled firearm). NO LIVE FIRE = we will have a "sterile environment" with no firearms or ammo in that area. Image Based Decisional Drills has it's own website! You can buy an Image Based Decisional Drills KIT or NO KIT, Expansion Packs and MORE! Also check out how to become a IBDD Certified Instructor. ZERO rounds needed |
12:45pm - 2:45pm Stephannie Weidner of Active Self Protection
Abbreviated Evidence Based Pistol : After spending the morning in the classroom learning the most important skills needed to win a gun fight, we will spend some time on range building that skill-set, as well as giving participants a path to continue to grow and improve at home. FOCUS: DRAW TO FIRST SHOT Items needed: This is a defensive minded class. We strongly recommend bringing your carry gun, concealed in your normal carry holster. While we bias very strongly towards practicing the way you carry, we also understand that not everyone is carrying every day and the minimum requirement is a gun in a safe holster. If you have any questions please contact the event organizer (Shelley Hill) or Instructor Steph Weidner. 75 rounds of range ammunition |
3pm-5pm Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant
ORGANIZE & EFFICIENCY This 2 hour block will re-visit the importance of stance & grip, follow through & trigger, and sights through dry practice and live fire.
